In the September 2026 PC Farmhouse layout, Tab opens the tool upgrade screen. Select the tool you want to improve. To buy equipment or increase bag capacity in Farmhouse, enter the barn and find the shop. Read the price, currency, and duration of the selected offer before spending.
Buying a tool gives you equipment to use. Its attribute upgrades are separate purchases, and a Robux offer may cover one round or a permanent unlock.
Find the purchase you need
The October 4, 2026 update log listed Tool Masteries. It did not give a complete task list, upgrade costs, or a rule for carrying progress into the next mastery level. Read the requirement and offer shown in your current interface before buying; the tool-attribute guidance below comes from the earlier interface.
The Farmhouse barn has Upgrade Bag and tool offers. The cow's Feed window is the selling point, where hay becomes Cash.
Use the tool upgrade menu for properties such as Hand Grasp or Pitchfork Sweep. Select the corresponding tool before buying. Hand Hold changes the Hand's input, while Pitchfork Hold belongs to the Pitchfork page.
At the shop, look at the currency beside the price. Ordinary tools have Cash purchase options. A Drone offer can use Gems, while a Robux option may buy a different duration for the same equipment. Having enough Cash does not cover an offer priced in Gems.
Pitchfork was slightly nerfed on September 7, 2026. The September 27 changes also buffed the lobby Bag upgrade bought with Gems, alongside other upgrades. Check the current cards before using tool or upgrade values from an older video.
Read the next cost on your own account. A tutorial's price belongs to that account at its current upgrade level. After buying an upgrade, read its state and the next level's cost before paying again.
Hand upgrades and bag capacity
| Option | What it changes | How to check it |
|---|---|---|
| Hand Speed | The pace of Hand collection. | Watch the collection rhythm while using the Hand. |
| Hand Grasp | The amount collected in a Hand action. | Watch the hay count after an action. |
| Hand Hold | Continuous collection while holding the input. | Hold the collection input instead of repeating it. |
| Upgrade Bag | Your carrying capacity. | Read the capacity after buying the upgrade. |
Hand Hold enables continuous collection; Hand Speed changes the collection pace. Neither increases carrying capacity or walking speed. Hand Grasp affects only the Hand, so a larger grasp can fill the same bag sooner.
Use Upgrade Bag in the barn to increase capacity, then compare the maximum shown before and after the purchase. Your current load need not increase when you buy more space. Class effects and existing upgrades can change that maximum.
Sell a full bag before testing collection, then watch how much a Hand action adds.
Buy a tool and open its upgrade page
Pitchfork
Buy the Pitchfork through the shop's Cash option, equip it, and swing at the pile. It takes several pieces of hay in an action. Once it is usable, open the Pitchfork page to inspect its attributes.
Hold lets you keep swinging by holding the input. Cooldown changes the wait between actions, and Sweep increases the hay collected. Look at the current description of the property you intend to buy.
Purchasing Hand Hold does not also purchase Pitchfork Hold. Check the Pitchfork's own page if you still have to repeat the input for each swing.
To check Sweep, watch how much hay a swing adds. For Cooldown, watch when another swing becomes available. Leave room in your bag for either check; reaching capacity can interrupt use even when the tool's attribute has improved.
Dynamite
Dynamite, also called TNT, blasts an area of hay and has a cooldown before another use. Obtain it from the shop, equip it, and use it on the pile. Inspect the hay after the blast.
Its upgrade menu includes Power, Speed, and Lucky Blast. Read the selected property's description before buying. Lucky Blast gives blasted hay a chance to become rainbow hay, so some throws may produce no rainbow pieces.
Under the September 27, 2026 rule, upgrading Power before thrown TNT exploded could affect that explosion, even if its image did not change. Compare the hay removed separately from the visual effect. For a repeatable upgrade route, buy the intended Power level before the next throw.
Demolitionist's Dynamite effects are separate from owning Permanent Dynamite. Its solo route without that Game Pass required farming Cash to obtain the tool. Check that you can equip Dynamite before planning around the class effect.
Look at the affected hay and your bag count to check the result. The explosion effect alone does not tell you how much was collected. Sell collected hay to receive Cash.
Dynamite clears hay; you still need to complete the chapter's target and exit requirements. In Farmhouse, find the Needle and hand it to the Farmer. In Basement, find the Basement Key and solve the three puzzles before using the key at the trapdoor.
Vacuum
Buy the Vacuum through its Cash option, or read the price and duration of the Robux offer before choosing it.
Equip it and use it on hay. The Vacuum pulls hay into the bag continuously, while its heat rises. If it overheats, stop using it and let it cool. It can cool while you use another tool.
Under the September 2026 cooling rule, stopping before overheating does not start the cooldown. Check whether the tool has reached the overheated state before expecting its heat to recover. Once that cooldown finishes, it becomes usable again.
Power increases collection. Cooling helps heat recover, and Runtime lets you collect longer before a heat pause. Select the Vacuum page and read those descriptions before paying for a property.
A newly unlocked Vacuum can still have attributes to upgrade, including one obtained through a permanent product. Check the page, then use the tool to confirm the change. Watch heat and carrying capacity separately: an empty bag does not stop the tool from overheating.
Under the October 1, 2026 collection behavior, holding the button did not restart the Vacuum after cooling. Watch a complete collection and cooling cycle before relying on held input. An auto-clicker repeats clicks; it still needs you to return for exposed Gems and the Needle handoff. The currency guide explains that farming setup.
Obtain and deploy a Hay Drone
The Hay Drone collects hay and carries loads to sell while you work. Read the currency on its ordinary offer. If it asks for Gems, the Cash earned from feeding the cow cannot pay that cost.
Under the September 30, 2026 rule, the ordinary Drone bought with Gems lasts for one round. Check your starting equipment before buying another one: a class such as Ultimate Farmer or The Chosen One can supply a Drone, and Permanent Drone unlocks one each round. Read the current shop price when you need the ordinary purchase.
After obtaining it, equip the Drone from your hotbar and deploy it at the haystack. Look for it to collect hay, then carry a load to the cow to sell. If it remains in your inventory, the helper is not doing that work yet.
The Drone's Speed, Grasp, and Capacity belong to its own upgrade page. Read each cost there. These upgrades are separate from obtaining the helper and from improving the Hand or your personal bag.
Compare the Drone's own load limit or Capacity display with its value before the upgrade. Your character's carrying display shows your own bag. For Speed or Grasp, compare the helper's behavior with the effect described on the selected card.
Read the currency and duration before paying
Under the September 12, 2026 currency rule, Gems you have already earned stay with your account when you leave. Cash belongs to the current round, so budget those purchases for that run. Keeping a Gems balance does not make every item bought with it permanent; the ordinary Drone still covers one round.
The lobby has a Gems upgrade shop alongside other Gems purchases. Inspect the individual item, its property, and any permanent label. A Gems purchase for a Hand or hay-value attribute belongs to a different offer from a Gems purchase for a Drone.
Robux offers have included both one-round and permanent versions of equipment. Read the duration on the selected option before confirming the Roblox purchase. A one-round option covers that round even though you paid Robux.
Permanent products and repeat runs
Under the September 23, 2026 gift setup, the sender paid with their own Robux and the recipient received the gift without spending theirs. The extra Class Slot could not be gifted on September 20, 2026. Read the specific product's current Gift option before purchasing; one giftable item does not make every offer giftable. The pet guide separates gifting the Cow from its Robux skins.
A Dynamite appearance from an Alien or Clan chest does not unlock the Permanent tool at the start of each round. Check whether the offer describes a skin or tool access; buying a skin does not include the tool or its upgrades.
| Product | Stated scope |
|---|---|
| Permanent Pitchfork | The Pitchfork automatically unlocks in each round. |
| Permanent Dynamite | Dynamite automatically unlocks in each round. |
| Permanent Drone | The Hay Drone automatically unlocks in each round. |
| Permanent Infinite Bag | Unlimited hay capacity in each round. |
| Vacuum (PERMANENT) [OP] | Advertised as a permanent Vacuum; the name does not specify the state of its Cash upgrades. |
The automatic unlocks cover access to the named tools. They do not promise every Cash attribute at maximum level. An owned permanent tool can still have purchases available on its upgrade page.
Infinite Bag changes carrying capacity. You still sell hay to earn Cash, and a Vacuum can still overheat. Collection, cooling, and runtime remain separate tool properties.
Try an upgrade order for your setup
For a four-player team using Permanent Vacuum, one order to try is four Vacuum Power purchases followed by five Dynamite Power purchases. Obtain and equip each tool before selecting its upgrade page. If a full bag or overheating keeps interrupting collection, address that problem before copying the next purchase.
A September 30, 2026 four-player route without Game Passes used Ultimate Farmer and Pig: buy Pitchfork, upgrade it a little, then obtain Dynamite and max Power before Speed. Continue upgrading Pitchfork afterward. If you can afford a Vacuum, compare it with the tools and class you already have. GP or GPs means Game Pass or Game Passes; a route without them can still require a class and pet.
When comparing short runs, include pet levels, accessories, The Chosen One, and permanent products. An upgraded Cow can help, but matching only the Cash purchases does not guarantee a 30-second result. Basement also adds three puzzles to the hay search.
One October 2 suggestion was to clear the bottom edge, sides, then front and back without digging too deeply in one place. The Needle's position changes, so inspect a possible target as it appears. The speedrun tips cover how to reduce interruptions and compare routes.
Choose any paid offer for the limit you want to address: Infinite Bag for capacity, 2x Gems for Gem farming, or a permanent tool for access. Compare Permanent Vacuum with your class, such as Hoover, and include the Cow's levels and accessories when judging that purchase.
Confirm what changed
Check the balance charged and the purchase's new state. Equip a tool, deploy a Drone, or read the new Bag capacity. For an attribute, return to that tool's page and test its effect with room in your bag.
If the expected effect is missing, check the selected tool and property, your bag load, and the Vacuum's heat before buying again. Once the item works, continue the chapter objective.
