Enter a code in the game's Codes panel, select Redeem, and check your reward. These codes come from past releases, so check the game's response when you try one.

Copy the complete code into the Codes field. Check the relevant balance or boost after redemption to see what you actually received.
Redeem a code on PC
- Open Search For The Needle by Garage Games and reach the lobby.
- Open Codes. In the September 2026 PC lobby layout, its button is on the right with a blue bird icon.
- Select the Type code here field and enter the complete code. Clear any text left from your previous attempt.
- Select the green Redeem button and read the result before changing the input.
- Check the balance or boost named in the reward. For Gems, compare your balance before and after submission. For a timed boost, check its status and remaining time.
Read each result before entering the next code so you can match the reward to the code you used.
The lobby's Free Reward offer and video giveaways have their own requirements. If Free Reward asks you to like the game and join a group, complete those steps for that offer. When redeeming a code, follow the instructions in the Codes panel.
If a code does not work

If a code still fails after checking its spelling and game, save a screenshot with the code and result visible. Ask in the official community, including the time of the attempt and your device.
Where to get new codes
Join the Garage Games Discord and look in these channels:

Use Discord's notification settings to follow these channels. Before copying a code, check the author's role and look for the original post from the game's team. Read the post's date and any edits, then check for later announcements about the same code.
Copy the complete redemption code from the message. A teaser or giveaway may describe a different offer, and an update does not guarantee a new code. If you find a code in a player reply or video, look for its original announcement and compare the spelling before trying it.
If the invitation does not open, use the official game and community links to find the game's linked community.
